ASD and Mainstream Tuition

We offer one to one weekly piano sessions of 60 mins each to children as young as 3 years old, both mainstream and on the Autism Spectrum (ASD).

 

No previous music experience is necessary.

 

A typical 60 min. weekly lesson involves the following components:

- review of previous week's pieces, answering any questions, theory homework check

- learning new pieces, playing duets with the teacher,setting homework for the following week

- aural skills and fun rhythmic exercises

- game of student's choice

- stickers, high fives and wrap-up

 

We have two to three concerts per year, normally for Christmas, Easter and Summer.
